To plan one mind blowing road trip isn't the easy. At all.

It's been 2 weeks...
2 weeks since summer started.
2 weeks since we graduated from our senior year.
2 weeks since we had planned our road trip.

But it only takes 3 best friends to make the journey happen.

------------------------

Now Children! Let me tell you an epic (fail) tale of 3 best friends.
Said best friends decided that going to a road trip is a great idea (not). But now that they've officially started their journey...well, let's just say they took a few wrong turns and had some quite interesting encounters. Along with a whole bunch of random screaming, singing, and eating, they finally got lost. Currently, they're still stuck in the middle of nowhere with no GPS in hand and absolutely no signal.
The End.

Ok I'll cut the crap but I'm not kidding.

There really are three best friends who just graduated from High School and as a graduation gift they asked their parents if they could go on a road trip, just the three of them with no parental guidance whatsoever. You could say they weren't thinking straight for asking for such a thing. But of course, just like that they went and lost their way (along with their minds).

From here on begins a story of friendship, romance and an adventure to never be forgotten. Unknown of what else is there to do (I mean they're already lost so they kinda have nothing else to lose), they just go with the flow.

Because let's admit it.
If you're high on iced tea (and occasionally lemonade), stuck on the road with no signal and only have your (abnormally insane) friends with you then all you can really do is face reality and make the most out of it.

"In retrospect, I could've gotten away with this even if my parents weren't attending Mr. Frank's Kitchen Convention this spring break." Joey's not the kind of boy who wastes the week he has off from school. Staying local while his parents are away isn't even a possibility for him, so why not spend time on a cross-country road-trip that could possibly jeopardize his friendships, his sweet van, and his life? Yet, Joey isn't going to be driving solitary, listening to blues and moping on his road-trip of a lifetime. He's persuaded a few close friends to accompany him on his trip; Levi, a smart aleck with a heart; Lucy, a childhood friend with an alter ego; Emmett, a twelve year old boy with a knack for sarcasm; and Antione, an unexpected friend whose first experience of the U.S. is a law-breaking, parent-deceiving road-trip. For only a mere day, a few in the know of Joey's journey soon grows into a few dozen, and soon a few thousand all thanks to a social-media account titled, "Joey and the Road-Trippers." After that, their adventure is exposed for all the world to see. As Joey and his trek explode, things started coming up roses. Yet, this is a teenage-driven road-trip, so it's in the cards that something is bound to go awry. From a circle of identical brothers to encounters with less-than--delighted relatives, no road-trip can be left without flaws. As the strings of lights shines down upon this cautionary, traditional American road-trip with its panic, pleasure, and pain, the group makes a pact- to never let their parents find out. (This was my final project in a Creative Writing class last year, and due to quarantine, I decided to opt for an easier, more fun piece to write. It's kind of like if "Vacation," "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," and "That 70s Show" had a baby, I guess)

This amazing story written by me, Captain Giggles, is full of action, drama, humor, and much more to somes likings. If you don't like his book I understand, but maybe give me some facts or information on what I can do better to improve this book. This book is about just some regular high school teens and just their life. Characters (Key Main Characters Kind of): Marvin and Daniel are very different. Daniel is a straight A-B student, is in a band, is a lady magnet ;So Marvin calls him; is very quiet at times, he's also 17 years old. Marvin is the opposite of Daniel,he's 19. Now James is an interesting boy; he is a big partier, loves to surf, his best friend is Marvin, he's a player but not a player like Marvin is, he has dark brown hair, also dark blue/ green eyes, he loves his sister Jade and watches out for her. Now Jade, interesting girl I have to say; she's hates the popularity but she deals with it, she has green cat like eyes, light brown hair, she's not a type of girl who dresses up to impress or anything, she only does what she wants and needs to, her make up is almost always light, most boys think of her has a "hot girl", she's a surfer; might I say quiet an amazingly great one to; she follows her brother to his friends parties and things like that to make sure he's safe, she has a crush on Daniel, but so do all the other girls too. For your information I'm not a stalker just a close friend XD Heck! I'm the writer so I know everything about them because I made them! But I hope you like this story I'm making right now!! WARNING!There will be some "not so nice" language! Not all chapters will be long! Some chapters will be short so deal with it! ~ Captain Giggles Also I'm looking for a new cover for this book. So please I need some help here!! ~ CG (2/5/16)

Mutants have existed long enough to be properly integrated into society, but not long enough for everyone to have accepted them. Outside of the United States, a hub for mutant immigrants fleeing the oppressive laws of their own countries, fear of mutant syndrome bleeds through the cracks in mysterious deaths, obnoxious court rulings, and social isolation. It isn't all sunshine and rainbows in America, either βΈ» some states are more progressive than others, and it's a constant battle over who has what rights and where. But there is one class of mutants that nearly everyone can agree on avoiding: Class F. The Freaks. For awkwardly tall and perpetually oblivious homeschooler Noah Kirby, all that exists is his house and the little graveyard on his street in North Carolina. When the opportunity comes along to enroll as a first-year at F Class Academy, an up-and-coming school for the most dangerous mutants of the generation, it means opening his eyes to an entirely new world, one where mutant life isn't as easy as he thought it was. Noah has three goals to ensure his start at FCA goes smoothly: 1. Befriend his moody Ability Management partner Amaris, so that they don't both risk failing the class, 2. Get to the bottom of why he keeps waking up surrounded by dissected corpses, and 3. Make it through the year without getting killed by one of his classmates' disastrous accidents. It may sound impossible, but with a dash of optimism and the help of a lot of new friends, he's confident he can make it work. FCA is nothing like he's ever seen before, but it can't be so scary. At the end of the day, mutant highschoolers are just like any other highschoolers... right? [ This story is unabashedly inspired by franchises I liked when I was a kid. I'm mostly writing it just for fun and for my friends to read, but if you also liked stuff like the X-Men, Percy Jackson, and Ever After High, you might have a fun time too! ]

|CROSSROADS x LEAP YEAR | Eighteen-year-old April Lewis flees her troubled home, desperate to escape her emotionally distant, controlling mom, and seek out her dad. Little does she know a chance encounter with her classmate will take her on a cross-country ride: a journey that will change April's life forever. A venture that will lead her down a path of self-discovery and unexpected love. *** When eighteen-year-old April Lewis' mom walks around like a zombie, evades all attempts to talk and controls her every move, April decides she's had enough. She leaves home one warm summer evening with nothing but a yellow backpack filled with her coveted dad's letters he's been sending her for the past months, and some bare necessities. She's determined to seek him out and go live with him down on the West Coast, where he has a temporary job. The last thing April expects is almost being hit by a car. The owner of the vehicle? Her classmate, Dave Rivera, a troubled boy whom she almost never talked to before, and who can't be more different than her. After making sure April is just a little banged-up, Dave strikes a deal with her: he'll help her get to the West Coast free of charge, as long as she doesn't report him to the cops. The two embark upon a road trip from NY to LA, navigating through stunning landscapes and meeting a colorful cast of characters. While sharing life stories and exchanging experiences, armed with the wisdom from her Dad's letters, April and Dave discover that they are a lot more alike than they originally thought. The journey slowly becomes more important than the destination, and their path takes an unexpected turn when a shocking secret comes to light.
