Red Mist of Lunaris

Deep in the forest outside Lunaris, a sleep‑deprived scientist makes a fatal mistake. He mixes the wrong vial into his experiment, creating a volatile reaction that releases a sentient red mist. The mist spreads through the factory, transforming every male worker into a creature shaped by instinct and mutation. Every female is put into a deep sleep and dissolves into the mist, vanishing without a trace. The mist expands outward, swallowing the entire town and creating a barrier around it to keep them inside and others,, outsiders out.

The mist had installed an instinct into the males turned creatures that draws them to Aether, something deep inside of them to seek him out and mate with him. The mist had had changed him also, not into a monster but something that attract them, his scent that attract the creatures and his organs that allow him to mate with the creatures.
