Waking up with no memories and then being brought into a place where there are no girls, no adults, and no signs of a way out- that's something else. When Lottie, the first girl in the Glade, arrives with not only a too-soon arrival from the box but also a clear sign of imminent change and numbers carved into her skin that will later be essential to escaping the maze... things start to get rough.

What does she do when she finds out that she had a major role in the Gladers' trauma? How does she react when she realizes that a certain boy in the Glade had a bigger toll in her life than she could imagine, one every bit terrifying as romantic?
