Dohoon and Hanjin grow up bound by a love that feels unbreakable-brotherly, protective, and deeply rooted in shared fears, stories, and quiet moments of trust. To Hanjin, Dohoon is more than a brother; he is a shield against the world. To Dohoon, Hanjin is the reason he endures. Before Dohoon's grandmother passes away, she reveals a truth that shatters their understanding of family: they are not brothers by blood. The revelation shakes them, yet they choose to remain what they have always been-family by choice, companions by fate. Driven by responsibility, Dohoon leaves to work and support Hanjin's education and their daily needs, living apart in a dorm while carrying a constant ache for the home he left behind. Years later, he returns when Hanjin is already in college. But something has changed. The bond they once knew feels unfamiliar, charged with emotions Dohoon cannot name-or accept. What he feels is no longer simple, and the realization terrifies him. This is a story of love, sacrifice, and the painful line between what feels right and what must never be crossed.

Hanjin's first day at his new school was supposed to be simple: keep his head down, make a few friends, and definitely not fall in love with the first pretty boy he sees. Too bad Jihoon exists. Cold, effortlessly cool, and annoyingly hard to read, Jihoon is everything Hanjin wasn't prepared for. One glance, and Hanjin's already spiraling-heart racing, brain short-circuiting, and accidentally calling Jihoon "pretty" out loud. Oops. But Jihoon doesn't do feelings. Or romance. Or new boys who look at him like he hangs the moon. At least, that's what he tells himself. Because the more Hanjin shows up-smiling like sunshine and tripping over his own shoes-the harder Jihoon finds it to look away. Throw in chaotic classmates, group chats that never shut up, and way too many accidental moments that feel suspiciously like fate... and suddenly, feelings are getting involved. Against their will. He fell first. He fell harder. Neither of them saw it coming.
