Ling, a 26-year-old bakery owner in the city, returns to her ancestral village, Fawnridge, after her grandfather's death. She plans to sell the old cottage and return quickly-but grief and memories root her longer than expected. What Ling doesn't know is that Orm is Kornnaphat, a powerful woman cursed a hundred years ago by a jealous witch she once loved. The curse turned her into a cat until someone offered her unconditional love-not romantic, but true love rooted in companionship, trust, and shared pain.
One stormy night, after Ling breaks down and whispers to Orm, "You're the only one who's ever made me feel safe," the curse shatters. Orm becomes human again.
Now, Kornnaphat must learn how to live again-and hide her secret from the village while living as a "relative" of Ling's. As they live and bake and rebuild, romantic feelings bloom. But shadows stir. The old witch's descendants still hunt for Kornnaphat, afraid her rebirth could unravel their hidden magic.
