Darkness... That's all there was. I tried running towards that light, only for it disappear before me. Despair... That's what washed over me. There was nothing to do but accept my fate. My life ended before it even begun.

As I sat there, crying, I heard a voice. It asked what was my wish. I already know what I want.
I don't to disappear. I want to live. I want to sail the vast ocean, go to many places, meet many people, and hopefully never part ways with them.
This is a rewrite and repost of FuyumiAsaki's The Samurai among the eagles (KC x AL) fanfiction.
