Now that the days of yokai fighting, Armageddon evasion, and the pandemic have subsided, what is left for Team Urameshi to do? Try living normal lives. Kuwabara is doing his part as a university student, Yusuke is involved in supernatural freelance work under the guise of a noodle stand, and Kurama is involved in the family business and...dating? Huh?

Ikeda Kiyoni has many labels associated with her name. Biracial, Bi-cultural, Bi-curious[?], and now that she's back in Japan after a decade-long stint in another country, she can add "Kikokushijo" or "Returned Child" to that list. However, those come second to the "caretaker" label given to her on her grandmother's behalf. Time is running out for Grandmother Ikeda and if Kiyoni doesn't find a cure soon, she could kiss both grandma and her ties to Japan a heartbreaking "sayonara".

So how complicated could things be when a bloodsucking, alien nightcrawler with an unknown disease enters the chat especially when border control officer Hiei is taken down? Foreign relations between humans is edgy enough. Could the same can be said for yokai? Only time will tell.
