The Gardenview Shutdown hadn't been easy on any of the Toons, to say the least. Most had found themselves losing friends, gaining foes-- Everything *nothing* anyone, outside of the Star of The Show, expected. Adapting to this new quiet life, in contrast to the loud, lively educational centre Gardenview used to be, was just as difficult to every one of the Toons that resided within the abandoned building. Sprout Seedly-- the overprotective strawberry, after reportedly being one of the first to descend deeper into Gardenview on a supply run, insisting that he should go alone first, to make sure things were safe, hadn't returned.

It wasn't difficult to assume that his lover, Cosmo the pastry, would be the first to go after him, despite other's protests and offers to accompany him.
