When an unforeseen setback threatens to destroy her final project, Erin turns to the only person who can help her: Jake Young. The problem? Jake isn't just the brother of the one responsible for the disaster - he's also the man she's been avoiding ever since friendship and resentment began sharing the same space.

Jake agrees to help, but only under one condition: Erin must travel with him and pretend to be his girlfriend for forty-five days during summer break.
