"You don't stare at me like all the other girls."

I looked at Felix. "Am I supposed to?"

Felix shook his head. "No. I just... why aren't you like everyone else? Staring and fawning?"

I shrugged and said "you are very attractive, Felix. But I am not going to stare and obsess over the king of Oxford. We're not of the same status and I am aware of that. It doesn't bother me. I've always noticed you but you're rich and I'm me."

Felix looked at the ground and then back up at me. "I don't care about our statuses. I'm not like the other rich kids here."

"I know. That's why I hang out with you." I replied with a smile.

Felix half smiled and looked at the ground again. "What if I wanted to be more than friends? What would you say then?"

I looked at Felix and gulped. "I'd say... that's not funny."

"It's not a joke." Felix stated.

"You mean that? More than friends?"

"I want you to be my girlfriend, Lara."

A story in which Felix Catton falls for a girl who has never fawned over him at school. The two fall in love and Lara Harper is the first girl Felix has ever loved. He also befriends Oliver Quick, who is obsessed with Felix and his life. When Lara unknowingly takes the attention away from Oliver, he aims to destroy them both.
