In this new Urban fantasy series monsters, mages, and spirits haunt the edges of modern day Edinburgh, as a battle rages to claim a long lost relic that holds the potential to change the world forever. Finn O'Grim has always seen monsters, ever since his parents died he's been haunted by them, none worse than the beast that lives in his chest, pushing him to fight, and which he keep down with terrible restraint and violence. When his estranged Grandfather dies, he inherits the family home, and a letter that puts him in contact with a mysterious woman known only as Red. Suddenly finding himself thrust into a shadowy world of hidden magic and terrible monsters, Finn soon discovers that he might be the most dangerous monster of them all. For as the silver light of the moon rises, he realises that to survive the battles to come, he might have to embrace the beast he's spent his whole life trying to keep in check.

As the hunt for an ancient doomsday artefact rages, Finn will have to rely on his few friends, his quick-witted flat mate Elena, and his former best friend and once upon a time crush Marcus, to survive the trials to come. But can he control the beast he's awakened inside of him, and what will happen when it finally achieves it's full and terrible power?

Silverlight is a new serial urban fantasy novel, it's an ongoing work in progress that I'm keen to get feedback on but this is also my first ever writing project so please be gentle!
