Training or Torture?: Janka .

Zanka is a man of lines-clean strikes, perfect posture, and a reputation as sharp as his Jinki. Jabber is a smudge on that perfect canvas. After a joint skirmish leaves them sidelined in the echoing silence of a hollowed out skyscraper, Zanka's irritation finally boils over. He can't decide what's worse: Jabber's lethal prowess, or the fact that he achieves it while looking like a frantic, uncoordinated animal.

The deal is simple: Zanka will show Jabber how to channel his speed into a proper killing blow, and Jabber will stop humming that nails-on-a-chalkboard tune for five minutes.

But as Zanka tries to force Jabber into a disciplined stance, the tension shifts. To Zanka, every correction is an act of order; to Jabber, every touch is a provocation. The training turns into a psychological chess match. Jabber intentionally fails just to see Zanka's composure crack, while Zanka pushes Jabber's body to the limit, trying to find the breaking point where the beast turns back into a man.

Between the sweat, the stinging rebukes, and the proximity that neither will admit is intoxicating, but little do they know they're starting to like the friction.
