Shield hero's Divine edge

Summoned to the parallel world of Melromarc alongside three other legendary heroes, Naofumi Iwatani is branded the Shield Hero, the weakest of the quartet. Before the summoning fully stabilizes, a prescient god grants him three "cheat" abilities: Stat Stealer, Degenerate, and 1000x Experience Points. Despite this divine intervention, Naofumi is immediately betrayed by Princess Malty, who falsely accuses him of assault, stripping him of his coin and reputation. Cast out by society and despised by the other heroes, Naofumi must rely solely on his overpowered abilities and his wits. He purchases a sickly Tanuki slave, Raphtalia, and uses his 1000x XP to rapidly heal her, while his Stat Stealer ability allows him to absorb the power of the monsters they hunt. As the Waves of Calamity threaten to destroy the world, Naofumi transforms from a pariah into an unstoppable force, crafting legendary gear with Degenerate and dismantling the corrupt political and religious systems that sought to break him. The story culminates in a battle not just for survival, but for redemption against a world that condemned him, forcing Naofumi to decide if he will save the people who hate him or let them reap what they have sown.
