The immediate sequel and escalation, picking up seconds after the first bite in pitch-black terror. Jess discovers her bloodied, infected daughter Mia, whose wound heals freakishly fast while her eyes glow and her voice layers with ancient choral rasps. As animal attacks turn on humans across Kent-quarantine zones, glowing-eyed beasts, wooden clacking-Mia becomes increasingly possessed by the Weald's old omens. Folklore elements intensify with a massive spectral Black Dog and grotesque, living Hooden Horse (twisted hop-pole frame, sap-bleeding, snapping jaws) hunting the family. Jess fights to save her daughter with iron-shot and desperation, but the entity craves a second bite to fully awaken and spread. Sensory overload continues with putrid decay, pulsing veins, shattering glass, and relentless clicking, culminating in a brutal invasion and blackout scream.
