In a kingdom that prides themselves on opportunities, the King offers trials to anyone to prove they are fit to be a ruler alongside with either his son or daughter and produce an heir.

Selina is from the slats where opportunities don't reach but when she is intercepted on her way to prison after stealing some bread, shes brought to the palace to compete in trials only she is unprepared for.

She will need to survive and prove that she isn't just nobody from the slats to survive in a competition made to kill her.

When someone seems to be helping her she's unsure who she should be trusting and who she must kill to survive.
