Amelia was sent to school like any other day. She dropped her little brother off at the grade school, walked in the rain that happened every week. Barely a bite of food in her stomach. She made it to school late. normal, is what it was.
She was sitting in class when suddenly a creature, nothing like she's seen, ran down the street. Her only thought in this moment? Was it just a dream? But Alex was her second thought. Her only hope of family she truly loved and cared for was so far away.
Amelia makes an effort to get away immediately when chaos arrives. She made her way to Alex as quickly as she could; she had him safely.
