He turns around, eyes meeting yours. They're filled with emotion but his stoic demeanor is preventing you from figuring out just what that emotion is. You shy away under his intense gaze, letting go of his forearm and looking down.

" I have to- no need to repay you. Please allow me to do so. " you bow to him, practically begging him to stay with you.

It's silent for a few seconds and every second that drags on, causes the heat to rise to your face in embarrassment. He place his index finger under your chin, raising your head from the floor.

" What did I tell you about that?, " a small grin playing on his lips as he continues. " You don't have to thank me. " your eyes trail over the man's plump lips and his chiseled jaw. Blushing, you quickly stepped backwards rubbing your arm and while giggling nervously.

He chuckles.

" if it's possible, I'd love some of that pound cake and maybe a cup of black coffee as a form of repayment? " he asks sheepishly.

Your eyes dart to the cake and you facepalm.

" Ah! Of course! No problem at all. " you exclaim, walking over to your cabinets, pulling out dish-ware. You turn around to him and smile, " I hope you enjoy it, baking is a little hobby of mine. " ."

You are working part time at a small scale bar while studying to become a nurse, the red hair pirates pay a visit to your small island and the first mate of the emperor takes an interest in you.
