Semi-Friendly Fire (M/M)

Grey, the lead singer and guitarist of the rock band, Friendly Fire, has more scandals than he does hit records, which is beginning to cause a problem for the band. His manager gives him an ultimatum: Enter into a fake relationship with the "pop prince", Skylar, who is looking to rebrand his image or go on a hiatus and risk replacement for the next album, music video, and promotions. His hands tied, Grey agrees. Much to his surprise, and delight, Skylar isn't the perfect little pop princess he pretends to be. He's cutthroat, feisty, a little wild, and works Grey's nerves like he wouldn't believe; all of which leads to the growing attraction. Because of course Grey can't resist someone that can hold their own, despite the preconceived notions Skylar has about him.

Skylar, second guessing his decision to enter into a fake relationship with Grey after their first meeting, doesn't make it easy for the rockstar to get to know him. He's had an awful history with men, and believing that they're all the same, is quick to write Grey off. However, after spending more time getting to know him-in order to really sell the relationship-Skylar starts to have other doubts. Mainly, can he actually keep Grey at an arm's length?
