Sequel to Little Hoodie Thief After Jason's best friends moved out to live together, he needed the extra money or he'd lose out on a good location that was only ten minutes away from the job of his dreams. Jason never expected that the aloof nice looking grad student from South Korea who took an interest in his ad, would be the one to set his heart ablaze. Jason wasn't one to go after a straight dude. Those guys were untouchable to him. And yet, Jaehyun Park kept him wanting more. From South Korea to California, Jaehyun Park had only one goal in mind; finish his thesis and maybe get a job in America. Despite having a life back home, and mounting pressure from his family to deal with the family business, Jaehyun has always valued his independence. He had plans to live a simple life, doing what he loved in the arts and maybe settling down with a nice woman who would lessen his family's disappointment in him. He never thought the smooth journey he planned out for his future would turn the other way until his new roommate let him in on a secret. And now all Jaehyun wants to do is be around Jason Graham, which was so not part of the plan.

Cade Swanson is a high school senior who has only one hope of leaving his awful life: art. On top of the stress of the school year, Cade has a lot to balance. His best friend ignores him every time she's in a relationship, his mom is working two jobs, he's raising his little brother, and he's trying to build a successful portfolio as an artist to try to win the state art show. The only stability in his life is his friend Isaiah. When Isaiah's mom helps Cade catch his first big break as an artist, he's swept away by success and can start to see the light at the end of the tunnel. As Cade's friendship with Isaiah starts to evolve, Isaiah complicates things by kissing him and rewriting the rules of their friendship. Before Cade even has a chance to consider his feelings, Isaiah's mother dismisses him as too low class to be part of Isaiah's life. And just when things can't seem to get anymore confusing, Cade's dad has decided to try to be a part of his life again for the first time in four years.
