- where love sinks deep, not loud In a world that celebrates noise- stadiums, headlines, expectations- two souls learn the language of quiet. He lives under floodlights, where mistakes are remembered and silence is heavy. She lives between words, where stories matter more than applause. From different cultures. Different worlds. Bound by restraint, responsibility, and unspoken feelings. This is not a love story that rushes. It waits. It listens. It stays. Gehra hua here means drowning in love It means feeling something deeply enough to never be the same again. Hello, goofies! This is my first story in the ICT series. I hope you enjoy it. This story is inspired by the Bollywood movie 2 States. As I am a fresher in writing, there may be some mistakes-please feel free to correct me and share your feedback.

Meenakshi Amooru was ordinary in the world's eyes - a middle-class college girl whose life revolved around lectures, temple visits, and cricket matches watched from her tiny living room. She found magic in small things - jasmine flowers, second-hand novels, and the thrill of a last-ball six. When her parents announced they were traveling to Amritsar for a wedding and leaving early to help, she hesitated. A grand Punjabi wedding? It felt like another universe. But curiosity won. On the other side of the country, Abhishek was heading to his sister's wedding - used to stadium crowds, not wedding chaos. The venue buzzed with laughter, marigolds, and loud relatives. And then it happened. Rushing down a corridor draped in fairy lights, he collided with someone. Before she could fall, he caught her. Flower petals rained down. For a moment, the noise disappeared. Brown eyes met his. Jasmine brushed his wrist. Between wedding chaos and falling flowers... something quietly began.
