PHASES is a contemporary mythic fantasy set in a world where faith, magic, and power are no longer aligned.

Rowena has been raised inside the Church, taught that belief is protection and obedience is safety. When the Dominion's authority begins to fracture and ancient orders fall, she is forced to flee into a world the Church has deliberately obscured-one where old magic survives in fragments, and faith no longer guarantees survival.

Pursued by forces that claim divine mandate, Rowena runs not just to escape, but to understand what she has been chosen for. Along the way, she encounters Niah, whose loyalty is grounded in action rather than doctrine, and learns that belief can be a weapon as much as a refuge. Each step away from the Church exposes a deeper truth: the world is not divided into good and evil, but into those who control belief and those who endure its consequences.

As the Dominion tightens its grip and agents are dispatched to retrieve her, Rowena must decide whether faith is something inherited-or something rebuilt. The phases she passes through-fear, doubt, defiance-mirror a wider transformation unfolding across the world.

PHASES is a novel about transition: between childhood and agency, obedience and choice, faith as comfort and faith as resistance. It asks what remains when the structures that once defined the world begin to burn.
