Macy hates the repetitive nature of white-collared living. Day-to-day life is dull, depressing, and unfulfilling. The only time she felt alive was when she was working on her novel. In her eyes, it was perfect. Unfortunately, not everyone felt the same way.

Nevertheless, her book is sitting on every major bookstore's shelf but no one seems to be picking it up. She has given up hope on it becoming a hit. It is currently her biggest disappointment.

Until she spots a stranger one afternoon with her very book in his possession...

And not only that, but he seems to be a spitting image of her main character; a psychopath who woke up one day and decided to devastate the lives of the unlucky folks that boarded a random train one sunny afternoon...

A train they happen to be on together.
