Sparkle Harris has always been known for her parent's achievements, but never for her own. Living under her parent's fame has brought her to desperate measures. Both of her parents are chart-topping artists in the music industry which is why she has never experienced the typical normalities of life. When her parents say yes, Sparkle feels as if her life couldn't get any better, little did she know, it would only get worse.
Having only a year left in school, Sparkle prepares herself to attend a regular high school with regular people. She imagined how nice it would be, until the reality of attending high school hit her like a brick wall. Dealing with nagging teachers, aggravating boys, and jealous girls left Sparkle with a lot to learn about life outside of fame. Sparkle finds herself in uncompromising situations that only she can get herself out of.
