In a world built on heroes, support gear, and carefully structured systems, Akari Tanaka was born the night everything failed. Once a quiet girl who dreamed of becoming a hero, her quirk - System Override - allowed her to disrupt any signal-based system, from city infrastructure to the human nervous system itself. But power without control is labeled danger, and danger is isolated. After a tragic accident cost her mother's life and the public branded her an unstable liability, Akari learned a cruel truth: Society doesn't fear villains. It fears glitches. Now known as Blue Screen, she doesn't scream or destroy blindly. She disables. She destabilizes. She exposes weaknesses in hero society with surgical precision, turning coordinated battlefields into flickering chaos. Movements lag. Comms distort. Infrastructure freezes. For a few seconds, the world stutters - and she stands at its center, calm as an administrator issuing commands. But every time she pushes her power too far, reality fractures around her. And she has to wonder- If she keeps forcing the system to reset... Will there be anything left of her when it reboots?

"WONDER IF YOU 𝐑𝐄𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐓 THE 𝐒𝐄𝐂𝐑𝐄𝐓 OF US?" As far as Ruby Kline is concerned, Steve Harrington doesn't exist, and according to him she's just a ditzy blonde who can't hold her tongue. But as they get caught up in fighting inter-dimensional monsters, their hatred for each other doesn't stand a chance, and neither do the secrets they're keeping. Because feelings are messy, but secrets are messier. [ STEVE HARRINGTON X OC, SEASONS 1-5 ]
