"May I have this dance" he whispered, somehow his breath a warm embrace of the sun against my drenched skin " Seriously? Right now in this situation?" I asked, hoping he would say yes. He drew his hand forward, I reached out to him and let the melody that had long been constrained burst out and it's as if the strings of this half-corpse heart finally let loose to a familiar song, and suddenly it felt like being stuck in 2017 was the best thing to ever happen to me. Parker's life took a turn 22 years ago back in 2017, he came home to see his dad lying dormant on the cold tiles, his eyes slowly losing life and light, and the candle's flame burned out with his father in his arms. Fast forward to 22 years later on his birthday, Parker listens to his father's playlist when the DVD jams he laments to the stars , when the clock hits 12 pm and he's finally 30 yrs he is transported back to 2017. Now determined to stop fate from repeating itself, he will strike any chord to save his father. All rights reserved © King_caear
