:Disclaimers: Dustin Henderson x Author OC The cover work isn't mine! Based off Stranger Things with an OC insert so the side characters and settings were never my original. Everything based around my OC and her background is original. - Party Rule No. 1- Friends. Don't. Lie. It was a ridiculous party rule to hold so sacred outside of a campaign although I assumed I was the only player who felt that way. The boys told every disgusting detail about themselves to each other, it was almost appalling sometimes. Perks of being the only girl in the party, I guess, boys are still gross. Some days it was hard to keep up with our number one rule, especially when all I've been doing since I moved here in the 3rd grade was lie. The boys had their party established already, albeit basic at the time, and it took months for them to even let me join in a conversation about their adventures let alone join in one itself. How could I possibly ruin years of friendship? Except Dustin. He never once gave me a hard time about being a new player or the fact that he didn't want a girl in the party; Lucas complained about that for weeks but he was generally the only one. It helped that Dustin's driveway was practically directly across from mine. We lived three houses down from each other in a little cul-da-sac not far from the school and biked together every morning until meeting up with the others to go to school. Friends don't lie. I've spent the last 3 years living a lie. I wasn't sure if it was to protect the party or myself anymore. Telling the truth meant admitting that I'd been hiding the truth from my friends for so long.

"Victoria Rowe is a human metronome. Reliable. Consistent. And utterly forgettable." To the skating world, eighteen-year-old Victoria Rowe is the girl who never falls-and the girl who never wins. After a devastating twelfth-place finish at the 2025 World Championships, the critics are louder than ever: Victoria is "safe." She's a "double-jump specialist." She's a relic of an era where playing it cool was enough. But Victoria has a secret. In the quiet, midnight hours of frozen rinks, she isn't the ballerina Arthur, her controlling coach, wants her to be. She is a powerhouse landing quads that aren't supposed to be possible. Fed up with the labels and the limitations, Victoria makes a choice that shocks the skating world: she leaves the only coach she's ever known for the high-velocity camp of Tatiana Malinina. Training alongside the "Quad God" himself, Ilia Malinin, Victoria must do more than just find her technical edge-she has to find her voice. From the Grand Prix circuit to the bright lights of the 2026 Olympics, Victoria is no longer playing for a clean sheet. She's playing for a revolution. Because the only thing more dangerous than a girl who can jump is a girl who has nothing left to lose. number 1 in #figureskating on 02/09/26 number 1 in #skating on 02/10/26 number 1 in #ilia on 02/10/26 number 1 in #milan on 02/10/26 number 1 in #teamusa on 02/20/26 number 1 in #winterolympics on 02/22/26 *Please keep in mind that I myself am not a figure skater!
