This is a fanmade alternative universe to the visual novels House Hunted 1 and 2 and John Doe originally created by Mortisfox and Bileshroom. This story contains a specific ship known as Evandoe, and Evan is the second parent, not "You". This story is NOT a John Doe x Y/N oneshots.

After John Doe and his beloved sleep paralysis, Evan, finally came on good terms they thought their lives wouldn't fall into any more drama. That was until one faithful night, where a violent storm struck the Uncanny Valley, when John Doe accidentally split himself, reproducing through fragmentation and creating his daughter, Poppy.
John Doe had made a promise to himself that he would never let his daughter go down the path he once did with Evan: Being so blinded by love and obsession that it turned to insanity and ended up emotionally hurting both him and Evan.
He assumed that thought would never come to life, but then Poppy met the pure Kasper, the protégé of Maison Talo, and formed an uncertain bond with him. The dangers of the REALTORs were nothing new, especially with their distaste for John Doe's species. Overwhelmed, John Doe used his powers to erase Kasper out of Poppy's memories, but as she grew older, the memories began returning. How could she have found out? And how will she handle the truth of her father's betrayal?
