Ok fine she got a b minus in her last test, technically it's an A if you round it up and believe in yourself..
Her parents didn't believe in rounding..
Now she's stuck with a twice a week tutor, the one she never asked for... calm and observant and way too good at explaining things... He was meant to help her with her grades not make her heart race..
Now it's just forced study sessions with a love and hate relationship with word problems including trains, but somewhere between vending machine analogies, and candlelight power outages..
She doesn't want to impress him, she just needs to pass maths and get her parents to believe in her..
she's not jealous that he tutors more students, he can do that, it's his job... that's all... no feelings, no romance... just maths, right?
