The Shadow Between Us | HeeJake

I always felt like there was a distance between us. Like a space that separated us further from each other until we finally separate and go our own ways. I hope one day that distance, that empty space disappears and we finally get to be closer than ever before. I hope I get to be with you without that shadow between us. I want to love you the way my heart desires but that empty space between us makes it almost impossible to accomplish. For now this distance, this shadow will separate us from each other until I am left alone, sad, and heartbroken. The pain in my chest will expand until i am too weak to move and get out of my room. I will watch you be happy with other people and spend all of your time with others as I become withered like a sad, dying rose.
