(OLD) Re:Zero - Starting Life in Another World Together

This is a long-paced fan fiction. However, production for this novel stopped during the middle of arc 2.

Please check out @shruggershrugger new Re:Zero novel that I and that person have been working on. It introduces elements of realism, makes the plot much more interesting and tries to not follow the main story of Re:Zero as much, with its own unique plot twists. The same bonding, slice-of-life, and emotional vibe can be found in that novel, as it is superior.

Meet Kael and Valen! The two protagonists of this Re:Zero-inspired novel. In their old world, Kael was known as Jonathan, and Valen was known as Josuke.

Let's make one thing clear: the two have not been enjoying life in modern London, England. Cold weather. Terrible grades. Awkward social lives. The worst of the worst. As far as they're concerned, their futures look bleak. All they really do is sit around, play video games, obsess over their favorite anime girls, and waste time being disappointments in their own homes. Calling them depressed would be too much - they're just painfully bored with life.

However, all this comes to a halt when the two are suddenly isekai'd late at night during a convenience store trip, and they are suddenly transported into the magical world of Re:Zero.

At first, it's a little hard to deal with the harsh circumstances of being in a new world, but they realise this is the perfect opportunity to reidentify themselves as not a bunch of hikikomori losers, but something else. Something brand new. A new adventure begins for the duo in this Re:Zero inspired novel, and we hope you enjoy watching their bizarre adventure unfold.
