It's 2026. Hardly anyone in Hawkins remembers the 1986 earthquake, and the old military base is nothing more than a distant memory. This Indiana town is a peaceful oasis now, where the biggest thrills come from local high school football games and Walmart sales. This was the Hawkins Olivia Newton knew-until the night the gates to the Upside Down reopened, and someone the entire town had forgotten slipped through a rift in space-time. Someone who shouldn't even exist. Not after 1986.
