Oliver St. James has been skating since before he knew how to walk, it feels like. He's also known he's queer for a long time, though probably not as long as the skating thing.

2014 Sochi Olympics. Where Oliver goes out to a small party with his team in the Olympic Village and sees Scott Hunter for the first time. And then he sees him again three years later, and that same connection is still there.

But Scott is still in the league, and there's no out hockey players for a reason. And Oliver has enough on his plate preparing for the next Olympics. But maybe they can find a way to not have to choose between what they love and who they love.
