Bellamy Blake is the rookie of the guards. He's the least experienced and the least respected. But he's also the first one to catch the princess attempting to escape on one of her adventures into town.
When Queen Abigail requests Bellamy to take up the new position as her daughters personal guard, Bellamy reluctantly moves into the palace and starts his job as the royal babysitter. He expects the princess to be rebellious and stubborn as he's heard, and he isn't wrong.
