Mafia Queen

Story that breaks the classic "Mafia romance" stereotypes and gender roles. Spicy scenes and an actual girlboss FMC (unlike those who have a personality until a guy comes along). No shade, I am just tired of strong women losing their aura in books when love interest is introduced.

Women are strong. Women in both real and fictional world are fierce and dominant, we just have to give them a voice.

Lillian Valis is a menance to society, or that's at least what they say.
Leading the world of underground crime and a very successful assassination organization, her name is feared and respected at a young age of twenty-six. A raging feminist who couldn't disagree more with the "traditional" role of women in both society and relationships.

Damian Carter is a guy whom people very rarely appreciated to the point he developed a strong people pleasing character trait. Not in his own head (which has some very non-filteted thoughts) but in the way he interacts with the world. He simply cannot help himself but to make people around him happy, which led to others using his kindness for their own gain. He would never complain about people walking over him but secretly wishes someone would care about him and protect him.

Their stories collide when Damian applies for a job of an assistant for a wealthy "business woman".

And remember kids, first person narrators are not reliable.
