Failing at my ways

In a population of pale, blond and graceful people, there is Nyadia, an olive skinned, brunette who is handy with a bow but has two left feet. One look at her and you could tell something was wrong. One look at her larger build and lower cheek bones and one would know, that she was different.
Her mothers disappearance has always been something she thought about, and her need for adventure was looked down upon by most elves, however these two factors are what makes her so special.
