Bayu is a rebel with a cause - or so he thinks. Tired of his family's old-fashioned wayang kulit performances, he wants to bring his own brand of art to the world. But when a dark force starts wreaking havoc in his village, Bayu learns that his puppets are more than just relics of the past. They are conduits to a world of spirits and magic, and he is the only one who can control them. With the help of his friends, his wise grandfather, and a few unlikely allies from the spirit world, Bayu must embrace his destiny as the Shadow Puppeteer and protect his village from the encroaching darkness.
