In the final chapter of The Mask We Weave, at the end of the battle that it was revealed that Peter Parker was Venom, but the problem was that the Peter we knew was Cobalt Jaguar. So where did this Peter come from, and how different was he from the original?

In this alternate world, Peter's life is used to the pain that most Spider-People faced. His parents died when he was around Five years old, was then raised by his aunt and uncle, became friends with MJ and Harry, was bullied by Flash Thompson, and other stuff.

But one day, when he was Eleven... his world was shattered again when his Aunt was murdered right in front of him by a robber. Peter saw the robber's face, and it haunted him.

His Uncle blamed didn't blamed the person that shot May. He blamed Peter. The shouting turned into cruelty, the cruelty into abuse. The abuse turned into guilt. And after years of carrying pain that was never his to bear, Peter finally broke. He became tired of all the suffering and just vanished to a city.

Far from home. The city his parents were planning on going before they vanished.
