The Best Worst Family

For Jane, the truth was simple. Yet complicated.

Jane Flanagan has always hated her older brother Maccoff, since he took her into the woods without explaining why and blocked her in a cave years ago. He promised he would come back, but he never did. He just disappeared. She never understood why he did it. She never says a word about him, unless she must.

But when she moves far away to Ireland and tries her best to forget him, a guy claiming to be a friend of Maccoff's gives her a letter from her brother from a prison in Los Angeles. She never wanted to go back to Los Angeles. The letter says he needed her help and claimed that a threat that had been on him was closing in on her.

Jane wanted to tell him that she would rather be killed than help him. But when the truth came to her, she forgave her brother and teamed up with him to fight a big threat to not only them, but to their family. A threat among their family.
