Lumina Nights

In the year 2047, the city of Lumina-Azania was transformed by "Lumina Night," an event that fractured reality and replaced natural laws with a predatory system of Spiritual Debt. From the towering needle of the Spire, the Dominion enforces the "Cold Law," a system where supernatural power is borrowed against the architecture of the human soul.

To survive or fight, citizens must use Resonance Units. However, manifesting power requires a permanent deletion of the self. A warrior's shield or an energy strike is paid for with a sensory memory-the smell of cinnamon, a mother's touch-or a core identity-a brother's voice, a first love. When the debt becomes too high, the individual becomes "Hollowed," a soulless shell discarded as industrial scrap.

The story follows Zuri, a high-tech scavenger and "ghost" from the Shadow Docks. She spends her days hacking the Underflow, an iridescent stream of leaked, liquid memories that flows beneath the city's decay. When she discovers a digital breach that the Dominion cannot control, she is thrust into the center of a revolution.

She is joined by Amari, a powerful fighter suffering from the seismic erosion of his own mind. Having traded so much of his identity to protect others, he is reaching a breaking point where he can no longer remember his original purpose for fighting. Alongside a fractured team known as The Five, they face the Dominion's Architects of Order: Senator Valdez, the lethal Captain Fenix, and the cold Dr. Rumi.

To defeat the Spire, the resistance must master Sankofa-the ancient rite of looking back to reclaim the past. They must dive into the Underflow to retrieve their stolen history before the Spire completes its final, global harvest of human identity.
