Tales of a Try-Hard

Tales of a Try-hard follows Destiny, a driven high school sprinter in Texas whose world revolves around the stopwatch. Determined to outrun her rival Aaliyah Cobbs, break long-standing campus records, and secure a place at the State Championship, Destiny believes speed is the only thing that defines her worth.

But winning on the track doesn't shield her from the pressures off it. As expectations mount from teammates, coaches, family, and herself, Destiny struggles to balance competition, relationships, and the mental toll of always chasing perfection. Each race becomes more than a test of speed; it becomes a battle against doubt, comparison, and the fear of never being enough.

With everything on the line, Destiny must decide how much she's willing to sacrifice in pursuit of victory, and whether success means crossing the finish line first, or learning who she is beyond the race.
