Ilaria (meaning shining) is everything a Daywalker should be: fierce, independent, and unapologetically bold. When she transfers to Seabrook High, she's ready to make the halls her own-until she's assigned Locker 101. the catch? She has to share it with Vargas, a Nightwalker with a permanent smirk, a serious case of "swag", and a very strange problem: his stomach won't stop glowing . After accidentally eating a stolen connection crystal, Vargas is literally "tuned in" to every signal in school. He's sarcastic, He's annoying, and he's currently occupying half of Ilaria's personal space. But as the "thinking of you" signals from the crystal start to blur with their own forced proximity, Ilaria realizes that the only thing more dangerous than a vampire with a glowing gut is the "fierce" spark growing between them.
