The Black Sun Ascendant

There are empires that rise by destiny, and there are empires that rise by hunger.

The Dominion of Kaelor rose by hunger.

In an age when mountains remembered their shaping and dragons slept beneath ice, King Malveris inherits a starving realm and a whispered prophecy:

The Black Sun shall rise, and under its shadow all shall kneel.

To save his kingdom, he declares war on the Ashen Wilds.

The fire-spirits fall.
The balance shatters.
And the ancient Drathari awaken.

As ambition turns to domination and survival becomes conquest, Malveris must decide how much blood a throne is worth - and whether power can ever be claimed without consequence.
