Episode 145 Tiverton

After dropping Ariel at the airport, James and Louise take a quiet detour through the Somerset back roads to avoid a motorway accident. What begins as a tired late-night drive spirals into something far more sinister when they are stopped by a police officer who seems a little too eager to exercise his authority.

The officer, Derek "Blondie," isn't what he claims to be. Wearing a stolen uniform and driving a police Land Rover, he lures outsiders into the shadows of Tiverton, a rural pocket of land where a strange, insular family operates beyond the reach of normal law. Beneath polite questions and fabricated traffic violations lies a ritualistic system built on isolation, obsession, and control.

As James and Louise are taken toward Greendale Farm, the illusion of authority collapses. But Tiverton has attracted another predator.

Unbeknownst to the family, Mick Black has been watching. Territorial, obsessive, and unwilling to let anyone else claim what he considers his, Mick begins picking off members of the family one by one, turning a calculated kidnapping into a violent siege. What follows is a tense standoff between two killers fighting over possession, while James and Louise maneuver quietly to survive between them.
