Whisper it to the Stars

Annika has spent centuries alone on her planet.
She was left there when the Varien race attacked her home, causing her people to flee. The beasts stripped the planet of resources before disappearing back into the stars.
After so many years alone, Annika longs for her people to return to her. She longs for companionship---to no longer suffer alone.
She doesn't expect her wish to finally come true in the form of the Varien Emperor once again descending from the nether of space to invade her planet once more.
