I nod, avoiding eye contact. I was just minding my own business before this guy almost ran me over. I give him a quick smile before I turn to leave when I hear him call out to me again.
"Hey what's your name!" I turn around, and it takes me a moment before I respond. "I'm Lizzy Baum. You?"
He stares at me for a moment, like he's trying to commit my face to memory. For once, I find the eye contact isn't uncomfortable.
"Nice to meet you Lizzy Baum. I'm Lucas Choi."
