universe was a weird thing. and from what was apparent- it definitely didn't like park jay's vibe. sensitive, solemn, emotional. these words were enough to describe the eighteen-year-old, navigating through his love for music and academic validation no one asked for.

the universe thought a little pain won't hurt. what it did though, probably changed jay for worse. a breakup, simple. love slipping away, trust felt for the first time just memories. nothing much, right? but for jay- the one who felt too much for his own good, it was the final sign that told him to shut himself down from the world. all it did was hurt anyway.

but you see, universe is as imperfect as any sleep deprived teenager. and sometimes, it brought new people in one's periphery, defying its own cruel agenda. this new person in question? yang jungwon.

average film major, sunoo's bestfriend from two years before, a little awkward. they met for the first time at a house party, how strangers meet stranger, small talks and hesitation that soon bloomed into adoration. between soft proximity and softer feelings, they take their time. unhurried, gentle. the way blooming love is supposed to feel- until the mere presence of eachother became homes they searched for.
