Fallen Wrath (A Short Story)

An eighteen years old helpless little princess named Malva, step foot onto unknown place. She was sent by her step-mother, in relation that Malva's mental health is unstable. There was nothing at first, but then she suddenly discover something within.

She wanted to escape, but she could not.

Malva wishes, she doesn't discover that secret- no, they should not said it to her. So that, she could get away. But she did.

A mysterious dark secret, consumed her. Death follows her shadow. She keeps on drowning, her biggest fear.

She was shot after her savior. Seemingly, she's reaching for the light of sun that hurting her eyes. Her vision started to blurry, as the dark and cold water started to cover her face along with her hair.

But then, before she sees nothing. She mumbles, it's better to die in water I fear of, than staying alive forever inside that walls.

:Author's Note

It was the story I submitted at my Non-Fiction subject. I derived the plot from my original story that filled of fantasy by immortals and other myth. I flipped it into various changes turning into full of a real to life journey.' And also, this can be read for one-sitting kind of. This story is quite inspired from a Japanese movie I forgot the title but I watch it with my friends year 2013 or 2014 but certainly I was in 4th grade that time. We don't actually understand the movie because there's no a subtitle.
