Hi I'm Jamie and here I am at 19 years old trying to make a living while taking care of my 9 year old little brother, Caleb. How did it get to be like this you ask? All I can say is that it's a long story. I left my home about three years ago, and took Caleb with me. We ran away from my abusive father and my poor excuse of a mother; and I will admit, it's hard dropping out of school at 16 to run away and try to make a living, while taking care of your 6 year old brother. It's like hanging by a thread, and you know that any minute somebody can come out of nowhere and cut it in half. It's kind of sad that a 16 year old girl knows what's better for her little brother than his 34 year old parents who don't even try.
