Beyond the water

Hands rush to grab me from the gaping door of the mens restroom, the drum of voices and panicked feet becoming static as I take in the scene before me. Alex Turner's slight muscular build hunched unnaturally over the edge a toilet, the ceramic groaning under the weight of rushing water as it floods with its pipes packed full of discarded paper.

I weakly grab onto the frame of the door way to fight back against the pull of the teachers hands, forced to watch as they close the bathroom door a boy slowly comes into my vison as he props himself against he cream painted wall outside the door.

A laugh falling from his lips as his friends surround him, bruises and cuts litter his face, earned from his own brutality.
