The Other Address

Adam Carter has always dreamed of being a father, shaped by the loss of his younger brother and a childhood marked by stable, loving parents who taught him how to carry grief without letting it define him. When he falls in love with Clara Bennett, he believes he has found his life partner, but at their engagement, Clara reveals she does not want children. Adam is heartbroken but decides to compromise for the sake of their relationship.

Years later, after a series of unexpected events, Adam encounters two runaway children, Lucas and Amelia. Unable to ignore his protective instincts, he takes them in. To avoid conflict with Clara, he rents a modest place a few kilometres from their home where the children can stay safely.

The story follows Adam's struggle to care for the children in secret, the slow development of their bond, and the tension this hidden life creates in his marriage.
